Hi Friends.

I wanted to share with you that I have decided to drop Stampin' Up. I have been contemplating it for a while now and now it is just time for me to let go of my demonstratorship. I will continue to use Stampin' Up product because I just simply love their products. This summer just put things a little more into perspective and down to reality. I have been focusing so much of my time on Stampin up and I have been neglecting my home life.

Hello Stampers and Scrappers,

I know I have been MIA lately. Just too much on my plate. I hope to be back in full swing soon. In the mean time I had one of my customers request a card. She needed a few of these to give out for end of year at her daughters school. So this is what I came up with. I took the basic idea of the card from Regionals a few months back. I just added more cardstock more layers and of course ribbon is a definite must have. I also embossed with my Big Shot and did some little punching around my scalloped piece.

My Take on Card Sketch 111

A friend of mine introduced me to a Card Sketches blog. This is this weeks sketch:

Below is my take on the above card sketch.

This is another Summer Mini Catalog Sneak Peek. This set is called "On the Grow".

I used 2 different embossing folders on is the tulip border and the other is the lattice folder. On the Lattice embossing folder i inked up one side with my crumb cake ink pad and brayer then ran my cardstock through the Big Shot. This gives it a nice porceline look.

I stamped my main image on water color paper and water colored the image using my ink pads. After the image is colored I cut it out with my paper snips and pop dotted it on my card.

This card is measured 4 1/4" x 4 1/4". A rule of thumb I follow is that don't mail this size card in a square envelope because you will end up paying extra for postage. This size card will fit in a regular A2 size envelope and you will pay regular postage. :)

I am so glad today is Thursday. This is my Friday. I get tomorrow off from work. There isn't anything on the schedule. Only to have some quality time with my husband and to work on a few dead lines. :) I have some fun things on the horizon.

The Open Sea

When I first saw this new set coming out in the Summer Mini Catalog on May 1st. I just knew I had to have it.

This card is designed using a cardsketch from Stamping 411.

This goes really well with all my Navy Pictures. I Can't wait to add these to the mix. (yes, over 10 years and I am still scrapping the U.S. Navy Pictures)

This new set is called "The Open Sea" And what's even better is that there is matching Designer Series Paper. The paper is called: "Nautical Expedition"

Happy Thursday, My Friends. :)

I wish you all a wonderfully, peaceful, happy, and speedy Thursday. Speedy? Well I want your Thursday to go by fast so that Friday will be here and you can enjoy the week end. That's my wish for today.

Today's card is using the Sew Suite stamp set from the occasion mini catalog. Its a sad thing to say that this is the first time it has been inked up. :( But have no fear. It has seen ink now. :)

from the card above you can see that I used the matching Designer Series Papers, the Pom Pom Ribbon, Pearls, and buttons.

And my new favorite. (yes, everyday there is a different favorite) {smile} I used VersaMark and inked up the Hello, You and used the Melon Mambo from the upcoming Summer Mini Catalog. It just fit so perfect. :)

Thanks to all my Wonderful Customers. Your Support means so much to me.

I have been wanting to implement this into my business and decided that it is going to happen NOW. :)

This is My Thank you cards for all orders Placed in March. The card will come to your mail box and will be blank inside (for you to use as you'd like).

The color I chose is Concord Crush, which is this years in color. I decided on a monochromatic look. The stampset is one of my favorites and very well loved called: Upsy Daisy. The Designer Series Papers is from a Level 1 freebe. It is a 6 x 6 paper pack that is of all the current In colors. The ribbon is concord crush. Thats another thing that I love about Stampin' Up is that the ribbon, Ink, cardstock, Designer Series Papers all match perfectly. (even buttons)

Happy Tuesday! I am so excited.. My new stamps will be here Wednesday. The new Stamps are from the upcoming Summer Mini Catalog. :) Boy o Boy. Be sure to check back often to see what new.

But, for today's card I am using Easter Blossoms. This is such a cute cute set. I have seen so many beautiful things done with it. However, for me I couldn't resist using the Pear Pizzaz again. But this time with the Night of Navy. Don't you just love how this "Pear Pizzazz" works with a few different colors.

Build A Blossom

I love this green and this purple together. This was an out of the blue put together card. I just started with my mind set on using this set and the concord crush ink. Since I just now opened the ink pad. I know.. {SIGH}..

After I got my image stamped. I realized It really needed some green added into the mix. So I just know Pear Pizzazz was only the best color there is to make this baby pop. And lookie here.. {smile} it does just that. :)

I had a blast stamping this week end. I got quite a few projects done including some dead lines. :) It is sad to say that this is the first time I inked up the "Awash with Flowers" Stamp set. Mind you, I have had it since it came out as a sneak peek many months ago... Now I can say it has been inked. I really like how these colors work together.

This card here is a card that was shown at Stampin' Up Regional. I took a picture of it on the screen as they were showing it and came home and made it for my workshop I had last Saturday. The Ladies and Gentleman loved it. Yes I had my first male at one of my classes last week. :)

I was really impressed with the color combo.

Nature's Walk

Hi Stampers and Bloggers,

I wanted to share with you a card I made at Stampin' Up Regional last Friday. This was one of our Make-n-takes. And of course I tweaked mine a little bit from the original :) I love love love the Shimmer Paint. If you haven't tried it before I highly recommend the Champagne color. (I don't have it YET, my good stamping friends had some and we used hers at regional).

The above card features a stamp set called: Natures Walk. I am so glad to have gotten this at regional as it was one I didn't buy for myself out of the Occasions Mini Catalog.

Here is a card I created for my downline. I wanted to do something for St. Patrick's Day.

I used the heart punch to create a 4 leaf clover. I hand cut the stem. Sponged the edges to give it a little depth.

I used the "Tulip border" embossing folder on Always Artichoke and matted it onto Crumb Cake card stock.

Think Spring

How stinking adorable is this card. :) It is a great way to "THINK SPRING". I promise it is around the corner, I just don't know how long that block is. :) Soon. Very Soon you will see nice flowers in beautiful colors that are very bright and just so happy. Wwwweeeelll, If you are in New Jersey we are still waiting on the snow to melt. {Smile}.

Valentines Card

A Quick and Easy Valentines. :) Love those. This one is super duper easy. To get the Texture you want simply adhere your Pattern paper to your BASE of the card first. Then run it through the Big shot with the embossing folder of your choice. This one uses the "lattice" folder. Oh my. How stinking cute this is.

Another favorite is the GLIMMER paper. OMG! this stuff is simply AMAZING. It does not flake off. Which means you'll have to find another way of "DUSTING" yourself with a little "DAZZLE". :) But on a positive note, you won't have to worry about vacuuming when your done using the Glimmer Paper.

But for those who love to dazzle yourselves with the dazzling diamonds, I did use it with a 2 way glue over the "Love" portion in the bottom.

There you have it. A quick and easy Valentines Day Card. :)

Day 5 of Punch Bunch.

This is the final day of the "Punch Bunch" tour. This is my favorite card of the whole bunch. Saved the best for last.

Lookie at these two love birds. How adorable. My friend Lupita showed me how to do the ribbon and I thought it would look cute as a little frame.

Had a Fabulous night last night with some friends. Wait until you see the projects we made.

Ok, I am wrapping things up here at work so I can head out to visit more friends today.

Day 4 of Punch Bunch

Day 4 of Punch Bunch is a simple card, yet oh so elegant. This is the first time I actually used the In-color "Poppy Parade". I know, I know... shocker... But it was fun to create with that color in mind. Another first time use was the "Daffodile Delight" color. And look how it makes the card just pop with cheerfulness. The other choice of color with this combo pack is an all time favorite is Pear Pizzazz.

Holiday Cards and Holiday Tags

I have had a busy Sunday. I finished Elena's Holiday Cards. This is a complete CASE.. I borrowed the idea from Idaho Stamper. It just fit perfect with Elena's picture she wants to add inside the card. Plus I get to use my stash. :) (that's always a plus) I just tweaked it a little bit by using a different bird in the cage and by using a sentiment stamp at the bottom and moving the ribbon up a little bit. I must say that these are so darn cute.

Next on my list is my Holiday Tags. These are added into my ETSY shop. These are all ready to get shipped out for your holiday needs. Simply click here and place your order. Jolly Old St. Nick

Hi Friends,

It's me again. :) I have a great post for today. The card was quick and easy to make. (my kind of card if you ask me...lol)

This stamp set is called Jolly Old St. Nick from the Holiday Mini Catalog and I love each image from the set. Of course I chose the clear mount set, much easier to store on my shelf and it looks like I have less than what I really do. (deceiving to the eye..)

Ok. here is the run down on the card. Use Baja Breeze cardstock. Stamp the snowflakes in whisper white craft ink. Cut a 2 x 4 1/4 piece of the striped paper from the Candy Cane DSP from the Holiday Mini and attach to the bottom of the card. Cut a piece of Real Red satin 5/8 ribbon to wrap around and tie in a know. Use you big shot to cut the Circles 2 out of water Color paper and stamp image on that piece. Color with Aqua Painters and Ink pads. Cut large scallop out of real red with large scallop punch. Use dimensional to adhere to your card. Stamp sentiment in Basic Black. And Voila your done.

I know I have been MIA for small bit. But I am back. The card I am showing you today is from Regional in Baltimore, MD. This was demo'ed and I loved it. I thought it was very fitting for Halloween which is just a few days away. :)

She took strips of dsp and adhered them onto a blank piece of white. And then cut into strips again to make it look like blocks. Then she shifted them on another piece of Paper to give it the look below. Very Fun!

Tree Ornament for Halloween

Hi Friends,

Its me again. Oh my goodness have you been watching the news? Isn't technology just amazing. The fact that the world is helping each other out when in need. I am happy to see the positive outlook that the Chile rescue is having on a bunch of folks. :0) As we speak they are on # 22 rescued. God Bless them all! and God Bless all the volunteers who helping in one way or another.

Now onto my creation. I have this small tree from Christmas that i like to put out on my shelf in my kitchen. So with it, I like to decorate it for each season. I did end up putting it away finally over spring sometime and I am now pulling it back out and putting some little Halloween ornaments on it. This is one of them that i have made.
See I told you I would come back for something other than the Day of Gratitude set. :) I made this using vintage ribbon I found at a local shop that has tons of little vintage trinkets. I used Crystal Effects around the edges and dipped into my Black Glass Glitter. and used Black Lace Ribbon from Stampin up to make the ribbon loop to hang on the tree. I have a few more that I need to make to fill my little tree, but all in due time. Maybe at the crop on Saturday that I am vending at. Hmm We'll see if I have time.

Boy oh boy to I have some busy times ahead in the next few weeks. I have a class on Friday that is almost full, I have a crop on Saturday that I am vending at, and My mother & Sister are coming here to NJ for a few days next week. Not to mention that my house needs more cleaning. Where has time flown to? I need it to come back for a little bit just so I can catch up.

This is a card I did for my downline meeting I had last Tuesday. It was quite a simple but elegant card. Thanks to my Friend Karen for helping me out with the idea while we were skyping last Monday night. Yes-sir'ee bob, I am a procrastinator of the worst kind. Another Wicked Halloween Card....

Hello Friends,

I am so excited that Friday I am heading down to Baltimore, Maryland with 2 of my demonstrator friends/downline for a Stampin' Up Regional. We are going to have a hoot, I am sure of it. Regional isn't until Saturday but we are heading down a day earlier and staying overnight and heading back after it ends on Saturday. Then Tuesday is our Demonstrator Meeting. Which is a blast in itself. So can't wait to share with them all the stuff we are going to learn on Saturday.

Have to be realistic now. It is only Tuesday and I am already wishing the week away. ha ha ha.. The story of my life is "I wish" "I wish" "I wish". Know what I mean?

I know.. I know.. Don't fall out of your seat just yet. lol ha ha ha.. Two posts in one week. Does that happen? Does the planets Aline?

Well here you have it. My other passion. Besides Stamping, is Scrapbooking. I know exactly what your thinking. "Is there anything better than Stamping cards?" Well to answer your question. YES there is. Stamping Scrapbook Pages. ha! Its the same creative outlet. Just a little bigger. Personally I find it better to be creative on a bigger scale than a smaller scale. But I do tend to find myself making cards the size of 4 1/4 x 4 1/2 square a little easier than 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 cards. Ok. I am getting a little off course here as I don't even have a card to show you today. Just a measly old Scrapbook page. (well its not an old page) I Made the Layout last week and just put the pictures on it today.

Can you beleive that it is time for Fall??? Time for Halloween??? No Way! Beleive it or not it is right around the corner. October is next week.. NEXT WEEK.. Holy moly has this year FLEW by. Who Gave it permission? I want to know. Things need to SLOW DOWN. Even for a day. That would be nice.

What have I been doing? Nothing much. Just working on my kitchen. (that still needs alot more work done with it). Reading (my hubby bought me a NOOK for my birthday and I have been reading alot). and working.

Gratitude... a little simpler

Just wanted to share with you a "simpler" Gratitude Card. There is absolutely nothing wrong with a "collage" of stamping. This is something that you can pop out really quickly when you find yourself wanting something more "instant gratifying". Which is what I like to do most of the time. Shhh don't tell anyone.

With the crispiness in the air it is beginning to feel a little "fall-ish-ly". Have a Fab Day!

This stamp set is my favorite from the Holiday Mini Catalog. That is NOW available. :0) woo hoo.

This set is called: Day of Gratitude. And I just love this medallion stamp that is in the set. I was a little unsure how Iwanted to ink it up. So I decided to stamp it twice: Once in Early Espresso and then I used More Mustard, Old Olive, Early Expresso and Cajun Craze pads to give it a marbled look. Here's how I did that. I inked up the whole stamp with More mustard. Then Direct to Stamp, I touched the pad a little on the stamp in various places with Cajun Craze, then did the same thing with Old Olive and then the same again with Early espresso. Then stamped it out on Verry Vanilla Cardstock.

After I stamped both images. I cut them out. One inside the line and the other out, to give it an Early Espresso Border.

There are alot of fun things happening at Stampin Up right now.

Here is another card we did at the Stenciling Class. So simple yet so elegant. We used Cherry Cobbler again on this card as well as the Newsprint DSP and the Elegant Trio Stencil Set.

To add a little bit more to the card we also used it on the inside of the card and sponged the same image from the Elegant Trio Stencil Set off to the side to leave room for your writing. We just did it a little lighter in shading.

Independence Day is just around the corner and I can't wait. This year is going to be special to me because I get to spend it with my family in Tennessee. :0) We are going to have a cook out by the pool at my moms house and go to Georgia to my sisters house to do fireworks once it starts to get dark . Then that Monday.... Hopefully if I can talk my Mom into it... Go 4 Wheeling with my hubby. Yay! I just can't wait. I hope to get some AWESOME pictures to scrapbook.

(scrap-a-doodle doo in Ramsey) The theme was SORORITY Theme, which was lots of fun. The food was amazing, the rooms spectacular, the fun between friends is just priceless. :0) Thanks Lenore for attending with me. We had such a great time.

This is a card I made for a swap I participated in.
It took me forever to decide on what I want to do. Then I figured you can never have too many Birthday Cards. So I oped for the Sweet Scoops set.

Sweet Beauty

Hey Everyone..

I wanted to share with you a scrapbook page I finished on Sunday. (I started it when my friend Darlene came to work with me on Friday 2 weeks ago.) I actually meant to post this yesterday but I got busy working on wedding invitation samples for a client.

This page features Basic Grays Kioshi (? spelling) kit. LOVE THE COLORS. Very soft and subtle and with a splash of brown to liven things up a bit. :0) The image of the children sitting on a bench is a stamp by Prima. Just adds a little touch to the page. And I have been eyeing this punch by Martha Stewart (butterfly in between the two words "sweet" and "beauty") And now I have used it so I have gotten my moneys worth out of it.. ha ha ha...

The picture is a picture of my mom when she was a WEEEEE little tot. (a year old)

Valentines Card Class

Hi Friends,

I Know, I know.. Before you even say it. Valentines was last week, Why didn't I share this sooner. I really have no excuse for you except. PURE LAZINESS. lol No not really. I have been a little busy with my day "paying" job. Then I get home and have to do the domestic wife thingy. But anywho's, you know how that goes.

I was working in my Craft Room this week end and all I can say is oh my goodness. It amazes me at how quickly stuff just piles up. I told my husband that while I am vending at a crop next week end to go into my room and under my desk take all the bins and things out and just throw those away. Hubby said "Are you sure?"... I said "yep". "If I look through it I will want to keep it". and I just can't. We are talking about stuff I haven't laid eyes on in over a year. It is just pretty sad..... Soooo, Just to give you a heads up.. I will be having a "blog candy" give-a-way here soon. I am at the point where I just want to get rid of everything and just start over, but realistically that just isn't going to happen. However, I will be giving away lots of stuff while I am in "Spring Cleaning" mode.

Now back to the reason you are here.... I wanted to share with you some of the cards we made at my last card class a few weeks ago. All Featuring Valentines Cards and All Featuring Stampin' Up Product.

I love the stamp set that is used on the above card. I Heart Hearts - In this set there are tons of hearts in it and all are different. I totally HEART the "I Heart Hearts" stamp set. :0)

Now we are talking about the "Love Bandit" stamp set. LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT. The tree is my most favorite out of this set. Isn't it the cutest? :0)

"Love Bandit" again? Yep. I used that set again on this one. The stump and the raccoon is my #2 favorite out of this set.

Hi Scrappers and Stampers,

Holy Moly it is Thursday already. Where did this week go? Not that I am complaining and I actually wish it was Friday already, but the time flew by when I actually have done nothing. lol

No Crafting, No cleaning, Nothing but going to work and going home. I did cook dinner last night. I made what I like to call "HYBRID" Bake Potato Soup. Easy enough to make..

***Just 4-cans of potato soup and added in 1 bake potato to the mix and 1 cup of milk, some real bacon and when done heating up - dress it up to your liking with sour cream and shredded cheese. It was good and I didn't have to stand at the stove for over an hour to make. :0)

After I ate dinner, I watched the Olympics and American Idol. Speaking of AI.. This is when I like to begin to watch it. However, Once it gets dwindled down to 12 I will be a regular..lol Too many people for me to remember their name and I don't want to do homework just to keep up.. kwim? As for the Olympics.. What is up with that game--"Curling". Who knew sweeping the kitchen floor was a sport. And you didn't think I was athletic.. ha...

Now back to our regular program..

Happy Presidents day and Happy Monday! Today I am sharing with you 5 layouts I did at a crop I went to last week-end. Now that I have taken pictures of them I can put them in their designated albums. I do have some more that I did. I will show you those in another post.

I bought this page kit from a local scrapbook store that was vending at the crop I was at last week end. Love how the page come out.

Yep you guessed it. Papers and embellies from the local scrapbook store that I always shop at. :0) The circles are from Maya Mist. I got a paper bowl and squirted some in there and used a lid from whatever I had in my crop bag and dipped it in there and then put it on my paper to give it the circle'y look.

The back-ground paper on this page is from a local scrapbook store and the little pieces I did for a swap many years ago for a yahoo group I am on. I was finally able to put them to use.

Hapy Monday my friends.

I had a class on Friday night. It was fun seeing everyone again. Saturday I had a crop I attended. I only got 8 or was it 9 single page layouts done. Wasn't motivated after my friend left. I ended up leaving around 9pm. Yesterday... superbowl Sunday. I slept through the 1st 1/2 and the 2nd half was on mute. My wonderful hubby went to a superbowl party and had a blast. I baked and sent him with some food. It was a much needed QUITE TIME.

anywho.. you didn't visit my blog to hear my ramblings so here is my card for today. hope you enjoy...

This is one of my favorite stamps by "Whipper Snapper Stamps". I "toadally" love their designs.. Pun Intended... ha ha ha..

Anyway. This was colored with my copic markers and I used pattern paper by Basic Gray.. Another Favorite of mine.

So Did you watch the Grammies last night? Did you see Bon Jovi? just awesome. I remember getting his RECORD.. yes I said it.. RECORD. and playing it on my "record player".. haaaaahhhh those were the days. Couldn't tell you where that record is at the moment. I really did like "livin on a prayer". Taylor Swift didn't do too bad either. But Bon Jovi was my fave..lol

Let me start by saying Happy Monday and Happy February 1st everyone. today I bring you another valentines day card. I used heart stamps I already had. Stamped in all Stampin' Up colors and cut them out.

I just can't believe it is February 1st. Seems like time is really flying by.

Adventure

Life in itself is an adventure. You go through many obstacles as you maneuver your way to what you think will be your final destinations, but then its not. Even as you grow older there are still many more twist and turns to make. I know that I am not there yet. My life is going through some twists and turns as we speak and I am sure there are many more to come.

During one of the many roads of life -Last summer I went on a 2 week vacation to my mothers house in Tennessee. The main objective of this two week vacation was to rest, relax and spend some quality time with my mother. What ever the day brought is what we did and we had so much fun. The best things in life are those that are unexpected. And even though we didn't have anything in particular scheduled we found that that two week was pretty busy for us. We even jumped in the truck and decided to do a road trip to Florida to visit my all time favorite person. Barbara. and of course whats going to Florida without going to the beach.

The page below showcases just a few of the many pictures we took while there. And I am going to be doing a mini book on our little road trip.

Happy Valentine's Day

Moving right along to Valentines day. :0)

I told you I would be back today with another post. This is a card I made last night. I absolutely love COSMO CRICKET. I want all of their paper. ha ha.. I am working on it. Trust me.

As you can see above I did a 4 1/4 square card. For the base I used Stampin' Up's Kraft Card stock. I used Cosmo Cricket's Nutmeg Paper for the background and for the matting of the stamped image. The Stamp is from Hero Arts. I love owls. They are so cute. I colored the owl with Copic markers but the flower's I used Stampin' up's Barely Banana and More mustard marker to color it in. The heart is actually a punch from Stampin' Up. I wanted to cover up the flower on the owls chest. I Punched it out of Riding hood Red Card stock and glossy accented it to give it some dimension. I used a White Gel pen to draw some stitched line and wrapped some Stampin' Up ribbon around it. The "happy valentines day" is a sentiment from Stampin' Up.

Now I have better get off here so I can get back to work. :0)

Hi All. Yes you guessed it. I am here again today to share with you my December Daily Book I did like Ali Edwards has done this year and in years past. I love the look and the concept but I never did it because I figured it was really for those who has children to record their excitement as it leads up to the Holiday. But this year I decided to plunge right on in.

In the first picture above- I used a 8 x 8 Album by American Crafts. For the "JOY" I used Tim Holtz masks and Glimmer Mist in Brick Red. (I think that was the name of the color) I tore card stock and masked around the letters to only spray in that one corner and to give it a "TORN" look. I had that "HOLIDAY" twill ribbon for a few years and decided to use it. Wrapped it around the album and tied it in a bow. The Charm is by Making Memories and the paper in the slot is by making Memories. The Snowflakes are by Little Yellow Bicycle. I am doing this by memory so if I butchered a name of a company. Please forgive me. :0)

This picture above is another page in the book. A lot of folks forget what the season is all about. I love how it turned out.

HandMade Christmas Ornaments

Hi Guys and Gals.. I wanted to share with you what I made for Christmas. I wanted a small tree in my kitchen so I bought this little tree in one of the Big Box stores that starts with a "M" for 2.99. Not bad right. So I decided to make some Christmas Ornaments. for the tree using Tim Holze little frames and memory glass. I used holiday Paper from "October Afternoon", "Webster Paper", and "making Memories". The decorative edge frames are from "Tattered Angels". Soooo Cute. I love all the Ornaments and I can't wait to use them again next year and add to them. Maybe even get a bigger tree for More Ornaments.. ha ha.. Shhh don't tell hubby, he already thinks I am crazy.

Please ignore my messy desk in the background. Thats what happens when I get crafty. I start out with a 6 ft table and end up working in a 6 inch space.. How many of you can relate?

Its been a while...

Holy Cow! It's been a WHILE since I have last posted. What can I say.. except that sometimes life gets in the way. Not that I am complaining. I just wish there was enough time in the day to stamp and get crafty on a daily basis. However.. That isn't going to happen.

I really enjoy stamping. I still love my stamps very much. I will continue to purchase them and continue to make cards and to scrapbook when I can.

My NEW YEAR'S RESOLUTION is to focus more on my family, my home. and focus on me.

Because of that I am putting my Stampin' Up business on the back burner. I am not sure for how long. I am not sure if it is permanent thing. I am just not sure right now.

Hi Guys and Gals...

I wanted to share with you a card I did for one of my Stamp-a-Stacks. I used this one which uses some traditional colors of Red and Green. All the items I am using are by Stampin' Up of course. The star is Stampin' Up's small star punch and I sprinkled some Dazzling Diamonds on it before I attached it to my card. After I dazzled it with diamonds I attached to to my Christmas Tree piece and using a paper piercer, punched a hole through the center of the star and then put one of our "BLING" clear brads through Star. Your Christmas Tree always needs a BLINGY star on top. All the edges of the card was sponged with Real Red ink except the Tree it was sponged with Old Olive in.

Last night we were suppose to go see a preview of New Moon. But it was canceled at the last minute. I was bumbed yet relieved that I could get some sleep. We have been super busy at my day job. Temporarily it seems it has turned from a part time job to a full time job. woo hoo.

Ohhh.. I took a Cricut class the other night. It was fabulous. It was basically a refresher class since I have owned a cricut for years and haven't used it in years. lol OHHH and the LSS owner is ordering me a GYPSY. I figured I need it. Nothing like an impulse buy... he he he.. I may have to take a class on how to use that.. HA HA HA...

Well here is my plans for the week end. I have a Class Friday night. I have a crop all day Saturday. I have 2 classes Sunday. It is going to be so much fun. Nothing like 3 STAMP-A-STACKS in one week end. and why not throw a crop in the middle. Hows that for fun. :0)

Our Baby Adora***

I know I have been MIA for a bit. There has been alot of things going on round here. This here is my baby Adora. This was taken just a few weeks ago. We had to put her to sleep this past wednesday. She had Cancer and has just lost all her muscle movement in her hips, legs and all. We know she is in a much better place but it just doesn't make it any easier. She will always be my baby girl.

Happy Fall YAll! I know I have said this before, but this really is my favorite time of year. Eventhough I have a little cold but hey, It always happens..lol

This card here is one I just threw together last week. I used my "Stampin' Up Backgounds 1" for the background and then just sponged over it with a sponge and Dusty Durango Ink pad.

I stamped on Watercolor Paper the image from "More the Merrier" (a hostess level 3 stamp set) and used my blender pens to color the images with markers.

Hope you liked my "Creations" today.

Christmas Card Friday #1

The colors of this card is so fresh, I immediately fell in love with how it looks. This just may be my Holiday Cards this year. shhh.. Is it OK to say that now? It is only September. Hmm?

Take a look at that bow! For those of you that know me or that have taken any of my classes, I don't usually do bows. I usually do what I like to call the cheating knot. You know the one.. where you take two pieces of ribbon one smaller than the other. wrap one around your art piece, adhering the ends with a glue dot or your favorite dry adhesive. and take the smaller piece and slide it under your other piece and proceed to tie your knot. I hope that makes sense. I may have to show you in a YOU TUBE video this week end. :)

I am going to try to do something. Every Friday is going to be CHRISTMAS CARD FRIDAY. I will post a card every Friday that features a Holiday/Christmas card theme. Until the Holiday arrives. :)

Can you believe that Halloween is right around the corner? This year has flew by. I love this time of year. The crisp air, the changes in the trees, and the warm colors of fall in general.

I don't have any children but I just love Halloween. I can't wait to get my Fall decor up from the basement to decorate my home.

Friends 24/7 with Bleaching

This was a card we did at my TLC class. (Techniques Lovers Club) Everyone loved the techniques and I am so glad. This one features Bleaching. A little tip for you all... If you put bleach in one of your aqua painters.. don't forget to lable it. :)

I am working on a video for this technique. But I seem to be having a little problems loading it into YOUTUBE. I am going to work on it a little more tomorrow. :)

Today I went to the Scrapbook Expo in Somerset, NJ with a dear friend. We had tons of fun. Chick Chatting it up and just looking and looking and then buying and buying some fabulous products. As you all know STAMPIN' UP is my absolute favorite products. I also enjoy scrapbooking and distressing and using all the other stuff too. I have to say that my favorite stuff today was from the Melissa Frances booth. TOTALLY AWESOME. I can't wait to share some projects with you. :)
